Our Story

How It All Began

Walusubi United Church of Jesus Christ was born out of a deep passion to see God's Kingdom established in Walusubi and beyond. Founded by Pastor Bogere Geofrey under the affiliation of Born Among Faith, this church began as a small gathering of believers hungry for authentic worship and the uncompromised Word of God.

What started as a handful of committed families has grown into a vibrant congregation of hundreds, with active ministries touching every age group and sector of society. Through prayers, tears, sacrifices and faithful stewardship, God has built His church here.

Today, Walusubi United Church stands as a beacon of hope, a house of healing, and a center of transformation in Walusubi, Mukono District. We are still growing, still believing, and still advancing the Kingdom of God.

Senior Pastor — Walusubi United Church of Jesus Christ

Pastor Bogere Geofrey is a passionate man of God called to preach the Gospel and build people into their God-given destiny. With a heart for the lost and a gift for teaching, he leads the congregation with humility, wisdom and a deep love for the Word of God.

Under his leadership, Walusubi United Church has grown significantly, impacting thousands of lives through preaching, discipleship, community service and evangelistic outreaches across Uganda. He is a visionary leader who believes that every member of the body of Christ has a role to play in advancing the Kingdom.
